These days there are a myriad of restaurants from which to choose in Bali and many of them are wonderful places to celebrate an event as special as a wedding.

Some couples marrying in Bali choose to organize a function with their guests either before or after their wedding.  Obviously, the before wedding functions serve the purpose of introducing family and friends from both sides to each other so that they may feel more comfortable gathering together on the day of the wedding.  Post wedding functions are an opportunity to get together once again afterwards to recall the events of the big day or night.

Some of our favorite options are :

The beachside Ku-De-Ta Restaurant for a brunch function - Seminyak
The location is beautiful, with manicured lawns and a view of the sea.  The set breakfast menu offers excellent value for money in a modern open-air environment !  Kud-De-Ta is the must go to place for almost everyone traveling to Bali.

The beachside Gado-Gado Restaurant for a dinner function - Seminyak
This lovely restaurant offers fabulous meals and excellent service - not cheap but high quality and certainly value for money.  Guests are bound to enjoy watching the sunset during cocktail hour and the way the restaurant lights up the shore when darkness falls !

The beachside La Luciola Restaurant - Seminyak
This well-known restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and overlooks manicured lawns and a wide sandy beachfront.  La Luciola only accepts group bookings in low season or for taking place in their 'private dining room' - if you book for 10 or more and take one of their set menus you will be given this room without any rental fees.

Bali Garden Hotel - Tuban
This moderate priced property sits on the very best beachfront in the Tuban area and offers views of the entire west coast of the island.  They offer the 'Boardwalk Cafe' which offfers fine dining in a semmi-open, casual environment.  Truly the best western coastline views on the island.  Uninterrupted views from the restaurant to Tanah Lot Temple so many miles away The meals are excellent, the atmomsphere great - a must try restaurant for sure.
If you have a group you better book or you may be disappointed.

The new Metis Bali
Another absolutely must do restaurant.  Two long term French residents Doudou and Saiid operate this restaurant. Previoulsy they were operating Warisan Restaurant but they left there designed, built and operate the fabulous Metis Bali. 

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and very often excellent music.  The bar music starts from 10pm so plan a late night if planning to visit Metis.

The Warisan Restaurant - Seminyak
A beautiful restaurant on the main road of Seminyak.  Located behind a well-known shop selling furniture, clothing, jewelry and other items of quality, this 2 storey restaurant offers fabulous meals and service.  A view over the nearby rice paddies is just as lovely at sunset as a view of the sea!

The Mozaic Restaurant - Ubud
A truly romantic garden restaurant with fabulous western style meals.  Owned by a Western Chef married to an Indonesian, the restaurant service is hard to beat and the environment is truly special !

Indus Restaurant - Ubud
Indus Restaurant is just a five minute drive from the centre of Ubud. It overlooks the Tjampuhan river and enjoys breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. On a clear day, you can see mighty Gunung Agung in the east, and during a full moon, there is a spectacular view from the terrace

Sail Sensations - Evening Cruise
A spacious, purpose built single level catamaran offers evening cruises for a maximum of 50 guests.  Lots of inclusions in the price such as transfers to and from the harbour, welcome drinks, live music and impressive silver service dining.  The Sail Sensations can be chartered especially for your event but is just as enjoyable when sharing with a few other people !
